Connect provides restaurants the innovative ability to bridge systems and inject delivery and catering orders placed on marketplace apps directly into the restaurant POS – providing a streamlined order submission flow and removing the need for tablets at restaurant locations.

Premium pricing within delivery marketplaces is now commonplace. However, there are several options and nuances to note related to the POS in order to implement premium pricing:

Connect GOLD
Premium pricing within delivery marketplaces is now commonplace. However, there are several options and nuances to note related to the POS in order to implement premium pricing:

For premium pricing, the restaurant creates a 2nd menu in POS. Revolution will conduct a menu sync and configure menu within Gold Connect. Restaurant updates all marketplace menus with premium pricing. Note: premium pricing for Gold requires a professional services fee of $2,000 for additional menu configuration by Revolution.

STEPS TO ESTABLISH
CONNECT PLATINUM PROGRAM

1. NOTIFY REVOLUTION OF MARKETPLACE PARTNERS
The restaurant to inform Revolution which delivery marketplaces are currently used (or projected to be used) along with specifics including:
- Locations with each delivery service (current or projected)
- Order volume for each delivery service (current or projected)

2. Menu Comparison and Review
Revolution coordinates with restaurant the installation of the Connect software agent with restaurant’s computer servers.

3. DETERMINE IF PREMIUM PRICING TO BE OFFERED
It is commonplace, but NOT required, for restaurants to offer premium pricing in the marketplace provided it is equal across all services. To implement premium pricing, restaurant creates an open priced modifier in the POS for each item and provides Revolution the respective marketplace pricing for each item. The following options are available for premium pricing:
- A fixed $ per menu item increase (i.e. $1 each menu item)
- A fixed % per menu item increase (i.e. 10% each menu item)

4. Menu Sync and Configuration
Revolution conducts menu sync and completes configuration.

5. Testing, Tablet Removal and Pilot
Revolution conducts testing of Connect program. Upon testing completion, Restaurants have option to place tablet in back-of-house. All tablets need to remain powered on and in restaurant location but no longer need to be staffed by personnel for order re-entry.
Revolution coordinates a 1-4 location pilot launch for 2 weeks.

6. GO LIVE!
Upon successful completion of 2 week pilot, up to 20 locations per week will be launched until full rollout.

Restaurant conducts menu comparison and evaluation between POS and delivery marketplace (including all modifiers).

3. DETERMINE IF PREMIUM PRICING TO BE OFFERED
It is commonplace, but NOT required, for restaurants to offer premium pricing in the marketplace provided it is equal across all services. Note: premium pricing for Gold requires a professional services fee of $2,000 for additional menu configuration by Revolution.
- If desiring premium pricing, the restaurant creates a 2nd menu in POS.
- Revolution will conduct a menu sync and configure menu within Gold Connect.
- Restaurant updates all marketplace menus with premium pricing.

4. ADD PROVIDED EMAIL TO DELIVERY ORDER LIST
Restaurant needs to append a Revolution email address (provided by Revolution Account team) to delivery order email distribution group to receive order from delivery service.

5. Testing and Tablet Removal
Revolution conducts testing of Connect program. Upon testing completion, Restaurants have option to place tablet in back-of-house. All tablets need to remain powered on and in restaurant location but no longer need to be staffed by personnel for order re-entry. Note: Connect confirms orders upon receipt.

6. GO LIVE!
Connect will create screen pop of incoming order, confirm receipt of order, transcribe and inject the order into the restaurant POS.

REVOLUTION OUTAGE
In the event of a technical/system outage, Revolution immediately communicates and institutes proper protocols with both the restaurant brand AND delivery service provider. Please provide your Revolution Account team direct points of contact for each.
